Photos include me playing for NFPS firsts soccer team, my prep school photo (2008) and my first school photo as a primary school teacher (2025).

I have so many fond memories of my time at North Fitzroy Primary School, a place that will always hold a special spot in my heart.

I was lucky enough to have some of the best teachers, who made learning exciting, nurturing and full of joy.

I still remember the pride I felt representing the school in the firsts soccer team in Grade 5/6, where I learned lessons about teamwork, resilience and friendship that I carry with me to this day.

As a result of my incredible experiences at North Fitzroy, I knew from a very young age that I wanted to become a primary school teacher.

Now, standing in front of my own classroom, I often find myself reflecting on those early years and the teachers who shaped my love for learning. Their patience, creativity and belief in every student continue to inspire how I teach today.

I strive to create the same welcoming, encouraging environment that I was lucky enough to experience, where every child feels valued and excited to learn and come to school.

Being a teacher now feels like coming full circle giving back the same kindness and inspiration that North Fitzroy Primary School once gave me.

Thank you NFPS!
